That's what I did before I posted my thread on this forum. I called them and the seller 1st to let them know what's going on. "That's just the way it is" was the answer from Moser, therefore I thought I'd share it with all the readers here so they can make a decision when it's time for their purchase.

I am tired of complaining/harrassing Moser Engineering! They could care less what I do/say so I figured I'd try and save someone the frustration, not to mention $$, by telling them how I was treated by this company.

I am sure not everyone has had a bad experience with them, but I dont get why or how people stay in business when they practice bad ethics, even if my rear came twisted backwards and on fire as long as someone was cutrious and fixed the problem right away, I wouldnt have a problem. It is partly stupidty on my part also because I should have done more reasearch on both moser and strange before I made a choice.

1 out of every 10 customers gets treated like a customer.

I needed a set of 31 spline axles for my 69 Mach 1. I asked them if they needed the dimensions and they said no they know them. After the axles arrived i tried installing them and one axle barely went into the diff. and the other was to short to even touch the diff. I pulled them back out and had to use a hammer to help coax them out. They got a little beat up. I boxed them up with a note saying they were to short and the dimensions they needed and they sent me the right axles no charge no ?'s asked.

It's a shame to hear so many complaints against them. Maybe I got lucky, I don't know. But I ordered a 9" direct from Moser and everything arrived neatly about 1 week later.

I did the entire install including pressing the bearings on. Everything fit 100% perfectly and it's even pretty darn quiet.

This is your best bet, installing it yourself.

Same for me. Guys at the shop said that my 12 bolts (3.73's) was set up correctly from Moser and they didn't had to adjust anything. It had a slight whine in the first hundreds of miles but all noises were gone after the break-in period. Completely silent and trouble-free since then.
