Default im going with 410 gears

well everyone wants me to put gears in my 01 a4 i have 226 226 cam,5.3 heads,4000 tci with stock 323 gears,will i have any regrets going with 410s in my stock rear

yes you will have regrets, if you drive it anywhere but the track, and i'm not even sure that theyre that awesome for the track. the 3.73 gear will pull outa the hole plenty hard, especially with that 4000 stall. plus the 3.73's will be able to take more abuse and not make your rear tires go up in smoke as bad.

with the 226 cam i figure it would put the car in the poweband earlier

I just thought I would say im also adding some 4:10s but mine is not going to be a daily driver, its going to be a weekend thing, im reaching out for the 10s but im low on budget considering im only 19 and have already put in close to $5000 already. I have been told if i do make my car a everyday driver 4:10s at 70mph will put me at almost 3000 rpms so its not going to be good on the highway and like "theblurels1" said the 3:73s might help better on the track, but there is only one way to find out and thats what im doing. I will let you know when car is done what 4:10s will do for you, and hopefully its good cause im looking for the 10s.
