Default The one wheel peel

Hey all. Yes I believe my "posi" is gone. However I don't know what parts to order to get it fixed. Some people are telling me to just find a used rear and swap the whole thing, but that seems extreme. What part or parts exactly do I need to replace to fix this? Also if it matters - car was orignally a 2:73 rear - upgraded to 3 series 3.42 rear.

Thanks

Broken posi? Well naturally you'd order a new posi.

Well yeah I know that. I know almost nothing about rear ends. Do I need a specific one based on the carrier i use (2 or 3 series), which particular brand do I replace it with - does it matter if i already have one brand or the other.

There are a couple types (this is just to my basic knowledge), Auburn or Eaton (if were dealing with stock 10 bolt here of course). If your really nifty you can save 300 bucks and redo the clutches/shims in the posi unit.
