Do i need a new rear??
I know many of you are going to say it's more worth it just to save up for a moser or strange, BUT what about the rearend packages that many sponsors offer___ Gears,2 quarts of gear oil, install kit, girdle cover and studs. Will this really strengthen the rear and how much??
Mods are H/C "231/237", headers, and pretty much all the bolt ons. I know it can still blow while shifting gears in a M6 but being that this cam doesn't have a lot of torque down low do you think it will hold with one of these packages, and if so which is the best one for those of you with personal experience. By the way i'm plannig on going with 4.10's.
Thanx in advance

The girdle really is just a band-aid.If you run the car hard on the street or race at the track you are only prolonging the inevitable .I put a 4.10
in my WS6 last year but I don't race the car .It sounds weird but i bought the car as a fun to drive investment.Don't get me wrong ,I have slammed quite a few Stangs and a few "brave" imports but not every weekend.Whatever you decide,GOOD LUCK! Brian

this car never sees the track and isn't even a daily driver but with my luck i'll catch a race on the street one day and BOOM. which i think is more embarassing than blowing it at the track.
