Can I add ABS to my Moser 9 inch? I just bought a used 9 inch without ABS. What do I have to do to get ABS on it.
I know you can now order ABS and TC from Moser but is it possible to do it on my used unit.

I don't know if anything that just hit the market but I am aware the you need the 4 channel ABS to be able to bring that feature over to the new unit. With the 4 channel the sensors are mounted at both wheels instead of one sensor looking at the ring gear area

I dont have Traction control. Does that mean I do not have reluctor rings at the wheels?
Could I buy the reluctor rings and associated parts from GM or is my wiring harness and PCM not set up for it?

If you don't have TCS, your ABS is controlled by a reluctor wheel pressed on the ring gear itself, therefore there is no provision for it on a 9". There is no where for the wheel to go in a 9" center section, hope this helps, although probably not what you wanted to hear. Good luck, Shawn

Re: Can I add ABS to my Moser 9 inch? If I can get all the necessary parts from a Traction Control equipped axle, will my non- Traction Control equipped car's PCM and wiring harness work.
I havent seen a Traction Control equipped car, would I have to get more than just the axle (distribution box, etc).
I dont care if the Traction Control works, I just want ABS.
