Well my friend has this problem...gets on it hard in 1st and as soon as it shifts into second it gets stuck at 4000

Programming is the only way to fix it...

Before my ATI Supercharger, I never noticed the shift, except to hear a chirp and keep on getting up. After the SC install, the power was so much more, when torque mgmt cut my timing at each shift, the front end would do a slight nose-dive and I could see myself losing ground a bit when the car next to me can keep up. Feels sorta like an M6 Granny Shfiting.

On an autotap run, I even noticed it lose 1MPH on the 1-2 shift and a slower rate of gain in the 2-3 shift.

I asked Superchips to remove the torque management from the tranny.

BIG difference! That nose-diving I told you about at each shift - like a manual granny-shifting?

Well, no more!

Except for a slight dip in RPMs, some more spinning and MPH continuing to climb, you can hardly tell it shifted... it just keeps on gettin' up!

Torque management pulls timing out of the engine on the shifts to be a little easier on the transmission. My SS had tq. mgt. bad from the day I bought it, and it was just magnified with the TransGo shift kit. I got my PCM back from Ed Wright last week, and it's AWESOME! The shifts are very quick, and the car just keeps charging HARD through 2nd and 3rd. The 3.73's make it even more fun. I ATapped last night, and all of my #'s are perfect. My 02's varied between .880 and .900, my timing was 25-26.5 degrees across the board at WOT, and my shift points seem to be dead-on at 6,200 RPM. The only problems I can see with my tuning is that he set the idle in park and neutral to 650 but kept the idle in drive at 550 and if I keep the car in OD, it will lock the converter in 3rd gear and then unlock it once it shifts into 4th. Once it's in 4th gear the converter locks back up. That's minor stuff IMO. I can always have him fix that stuff quickly. My biggest goal is to get to the track in the next few weeks to claim my 11-second timeslip.

Well in mine I don't know if it TM but after I reset my comp it doesn't slip at all at the top of 3rd but after 100+ the comp must learn and it starts to slip again. Its not a regular slip ether it right at 5500 everytime and no feel of slip before then. So I'm dieing to get my hands on ls1-edit or someone that has one.
