Default Screetching noise going around left hand turns

It just started making a screetching noise going around left hand turns. It kind of sounds like metal on metal contact. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing it?

Has any work been done in that area recently? Maybe the rotor is rubbing against the backing plate. It can be rust on the rotor or a worn out axle in the c-clip area causing the rotor to come in contact with the backing plate. you should pull it apart anyway just to see.

It is definatly a metal on metal contact sound if that makes it any easier to diagnose.
