I'm using the GM LSD additive in my 12-bolt.

Re: What weight gear oil for 12 bolt?
I've used Pennzoil 80-90, Torco 85-140 synthetic and Valvoline 85-140 in my Moser...I prefer the Valvoline non-synthetic 85-140 since it helped reduce the driveline "clunk" you get when you go into reverse or going into neutral in slow turns....always use GM original limited slip additive for the best quality anti-chatter for the clutches. Some of the offbrand additive doesn't work as well as GM.
