Re: Could you order a 3.73 gear in a SS? no. All 6-speed LS1 F-bodies come with a 3.42 gear and all A4 cars come standard with a 2.73 gear. A4 cars have an optional 3.23 gear upgrade.
Other than that, there aren't any more gear choices from the factory.

Re: Could you order a 3.73 gear in a SS? 3.23 gears come standard on all automatic equipped SS's and WS6s. 2.73 gears standard on the regular Z-28, Formula, and Trans Am models equipped with automatics.
