Why?! Traction would be... lets just say impossible unless you have some serious slicks with a cake-ton of VHT all over the place. Then after you don finally manage to figure out a way to grab traction out of the hole you would have to shift at what... 25?mph. So in a modded ls1, thats pretty much instantly.

I'd stick with 4:10's. you could kiss traction goodbye, unless you had some serious rubber.

If your shift point is around 7k rpms, I can see using that gear... or if you're always using 28" tires. But with a close to stock rev limiter or 26" tires, there's no way I'd go that high numerically.
Even now with me shifting around 6700-6800 rpms, the highest I'd go on my 26" ET Streets is 4.30s.

good track gear for a high power, 28" tall tire'd car. Bad street gear. I know a few guys who have ran it locally. One is almost strictly a track car, the other always ran a 28" et street.

im running 4.56s in an m6 car and i like it. i have 255/60/16 bfgs so that may make the difference in traction. not as bad as i thought it would be for a daily driver.
