Nitto drag radials
I have the 17" 315 nittos, very difficult to break them loose with the mods I have, and I am a M6. Now, instead of squealing the tires hard on hitting second gear, I instead now slip the clutch. This is a different game though if you have a lot of horsepower, big torque converter, etc.
After you get the converter...things will change.
But until then, the Nitto's sould fill your bill easily.
Good luck.
(there is a good "tire" write up on my web page.)
but in a auto, nittos can hold upper 1.5x's and 1.6's for sure!! <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />
u may not pick up to much with just the drag radials... get a converter and you will see alot... i see where you want the yank3000?? i reccomend something higher, cause that 3000 will feel awesome for a week or so... afterwards you will want more.. try the 3200 YANK, or the ST3500 yank...
also the vig2800 is awesome!!!
with a good stall and nittos you could cut atleast 5-6 tenths off your best
My fried runs 12.3's with 273 gears and with Nittos he hooks up great. Just be careful of hard launches with a stock rear end. Could be bad if the axel goes from the crazy force the Nittos put on the drivetrain.

Automatics tend to put less wear on the rear then an M6, so naturally, there are some FLYIN' A4's out there with the stock rear...
*cough* Raughammer *cough*
