Need HELP with torque mgt. program. Please Installed a transgo shift kit and now the trans won't shift from 1st to 2nd without pulling the motor dowm..it feels like a bog for a couple of seconds. I think the torque mgt feature is pulling out timing. What do I do take out the shift kit..(lotsa work) or delete torque mgt through reprogramming computer( lotsa $) Thanks <img src="graemlins/formula.gif" border="0" alt="[Pontiac]" /> <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">
Re: Need HELP with torque mgt. program. Please Delete torque mgt.! I had this done, and the difference is night and day. I had the same thing happening after my TransGo was installed; the shifts were downright SAD. After having Ed Wright delete the tq. mgt., the car shifts very quick at WOT and continues to charge hard on the shifts. His tuning is $450 + shipping. Feel free to e-mail me if you go w/ custom tuning, and I'll tell you everything that I had him do. I have some of it listed on my web site.
