1-2 shift wierd lately?
1-2 shift wierd lately? I've had this bad ticking that sounds like it's getting worse and sounds like a lifter so I was wondering if that might have somthing to do with this but yesterday at WOT on my 1-2 shift, I got up to where it normally shifts, I think 5,500rpms?, and it just sat there for a sec before it shifted, it scared me, why didn't it shift right away? Also, today it shifted way before then and shifted somewhere in the 4,000 range. I also think I hear this sound during the shift kinda like a shh sound but it's kinda hard to explain. Does anyone know what's goin on or if the ticking is causing it?

I got it checked and the dealer told me it was normal so I e-mailed GM about the problem and they called and told me that GM techs were working on the problem and a fix would be out soon and that what my dealer told me is wrong and then said they called my dealer to get on to them and told them to put me at the top of list to get fixed when the fix comes out but I don't think the problem they were talking about is the same as mine because a tech at SLP said over the phone is sounded like valvetrain noise like a bad lifter or bentpushrod or somthin like that. I think GM must be thinking of a different ticking.
