Used rearends??? Good or Bad to invest in???
I might not have enough $$ to get a 12-bolt or a 9"
Is it wise to look into a used rear or not??

Re: Used rearends??? I was just going to say make sure stuff isn't broken first. I personally would never use someone else's gears... it's like underwear, it's been washed but do you really want to wear it?
My stock 10 bolt will be for sale soon with literally nothing in it, just the housing and the axles. The rest of the stuff is toast.
Resale value seems to plummet when you don't get the 12 bolt before you needed it.

I will be doing the TH400 conversion and keeping the stock 10-bolt around until I get the $$$ (auburn posi/4.10)
I could probably get $600 or above for the 10-bolt perfect.. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
