Default Will It Hold

Will My Built 10 Bolt Hold Up To Slicks ?

It Is An Auburn Posi Pro , Moser Axles, Richmond 3.73's Girdle Brace With Carrier Studs ????

Im Smearing The Crap Out Of My 315-35-17 Nittos After My Verter Install

I Also Have The Full Set Of Suspension Crap In The Rear So Wheel Hop Is Not An Issue

Car Weighs 3800lbs With Me

My times are with the 10 bolt, Auburn Pro series differential, 3800 TCI converter and a 28 X 9 M/T Drag Slick

yes...my car 3805# 1.56 60' 10.16 @ 136....about the same suspension wise as you. Dont wheel hop and you will be fine. I have run on slicks and MT DRs.

"built" 10 bolts are no stronger than stock 10 bolts. esp if you went with a higher numeric gear (say 3.23 to 3.73). the ring and pinion are weaker. no matter the strength of the axles or differential.

Honestly. The best answer to this questions is, don't listen to anyone. Don't listen to anyone saying don't run it or it will break. Don't listen to nayone who says you will be 100% fine. For sure don't listen to people who say "my brothers, friends, sisters boyfriends, room mate ran 10's on his 10 bolt"...

Just follow these simple rules.
If you don't want to risk your rear blowing up don't run it.
If your comfortable with the chance of it laying down on you then run it and hope for the best.

The odds are not in your favor. So do what you like. But remember, no ones car or story is the same. Don't expect yours to do the same as other peoples

well last time it was the axles not the gear that went... i dunno mabye just move to bfg drags after this set of nittos .. if a 10 bolt was ever gonna hold it would be this one hell everything in it is "upgraded" even though i know a 12 bolt would have been a better idea i never thought i might one day be looking to run slicks on the car
