Default noisy torsen?

whenever i make a u turn i get a sound from my rear end from the site of the wheel thats turning less, is this normal for the torsens? maybe i just need a rear lube change? why do you have to add fric. mod. when you do a rear oil change, i thought with a torsen diff you dont need it?

It doesn't need the additive. Only time mine makes any noise is when it's been parked awhile and then make a immediate sharp turn. Try changing the fluid, might try a little heavier weight. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

Torsen needs additive, put 2 in.
