I ordered a Jimmy/Blazer deep trans pan and it fit perfectly. If I remember correctly, it only cost me $20 or so plus shipping from Gene at Phoneix Pontiac.

I’m getting one for my 4L60E. Added fluid capacity helps to keep fluid cooler and at a more even temp. The drain plug is also nice to keep the mess down when changing fluid/filter. The cooling fins built into the bottom will also aid in cooling at speed.

Gary, did it fit w/o modifications? That sounds very interesting. I hear that some of the aftermarket ones don't seal very well.

Just got my TCI deep pan for the 4l60e today. It ok casting could be a little better quality. The sealing surface has been machined smooth and level. I guess I will let you know well it fits.

That is correct. On my stock tranny, I didn't need to do anything else. But, I think there is some sort of a filter extension part that I should've bought but didn't.

So far so good. Put it in last Spring.

Really? Which ones? I ordered the B&M pan and I haven’t heard anyone complain about it yet...
