Some howl coming from my 10 bolt...... Well this kinda came out of the blue, but now there is a howling sound coming from the rear, it's really noticable around 35-40 mph and when slowing down. Any ideas on what may be wrong?? If I open the rear up is there something specific I should look for?? Thanks!!

Hmmm, if that's the case does anyone know what a shop would charge for that?? The reason I ask that is because there is a guy not far from me that is selling his rear with 342's, eaton posi, TA cover and possibly some other things, I didn't get specifics but he said the above things were in there and described it as "heavy duty" and If I remember correctly last year he put in new axle shafts...possibly gun drilled?? anywho he is asking $500 for it and he is a very trustworthy person so i'm shure it's in good shape. So i'm just trying to weigh my options on getting my current rear fixed vs buying his for $500....What do yall think??
