Default Comment on the BMR trakpak! :)

Im thinkin about going with this for my first suspension mods. They include the subframe connectors, adj. torque arm, and a crossbrace. Im going to do this with g2 springs i think. Where does the crossbrace attach on the chassis?Any comments on this setup? Seems like it would be an awesome setup for traction and handling. Oh yeah and for getting rid of that fender gap Thanks!

The crossbrace attaches to the subframes. I was going to have one of these installed and when measuring it up we found that there was no way that the ypipe(TTS) wasn't going to make contact the crossbrace, so I scratched that idea and just got a full length torque arm. Oh yeah, this was with the custom crossbrace that was intended to clear the exhaust just fine. With the standard crossbrace there is no way that your FLP's won't hit it.

I'd say definitely get the subframes and if you want a torque arm, get a full length adjustable one.

Steve

Thanks very much for the tip. I think now ill just order individual parts for my own needs. Tubular Subs, Larger front sway bar, Adj torque arm, and the G2 springs.
QUESTIONS:
I figure that the larger front sway bar will have a larger effect on handling than a shock tower brace. Am i correct? Also, will my car be lowered enough with G2 springs (1.5 inch drop or so) that i need an adj. panhard rod? Is the adj torque arm really worth the $320???? Mighty expensive, i must say.

Sorry for the dumb questions.. this is the first time i have looked into upgrading the suspension. (That was after 130 mph in mild twisties )

There's really no such thing as a dumb question. Your just trying to extend you learning as we all are here. We all at times are trying to figure out better ways and set up's and if it's asking a question about something you don't know then I or someone will be glad to help to the best of our ability on the board if we know the answer.
