Default Is it ok to drive with low transmission fluid??

I broke my driveshaft at the track and made the mistake of pulling it out before I had the car towed. So when it got pulled up onto the flat bed the tranny fluid came out the back where the driveshaft slips onto the splines.
So is it ok for me to drive a mile to put my car on a lift and fill it up??
Thanks

Yeah I guess I'll just have to put it up on some jack stands and fill it up.

That would be the safest thing to do...you just broke the driveshaft, wouldn't want to hurt the trans

It's not that bad in an M6, just keep it under a few miles.
