Default Anyone Have The Slp Aam Rear Diff Cover?

I'm think about buying the SLP AAM cast aluminum rear diff cover for my 10 bolt. Is it worth the $100 that everyone sells it for?

No, it will do next to nothing for you. Spend the extra money and get one with the bearing support studs.

Even though they say it will keep the fluid 80% cooler and distribute the fluid more?

What you want are the studs for the bearing cap support. If you buy the summit one, it is only $39 more than the one you want, and it will protect your weak 10 bolt much better. No girdle is going to a whole lot for keeping your differential cooler. The main reason for buying one is to HELP protect the weak 10 bolt, and the SLP one will basically do nothing in that respect. I asked the guy who did my gears this exact question, and he said whatever you do don't wast your money on a girdle without bearing support studs. Why spend $100 to do basically nothing, when you could spend a hair more and actually help protect your rear end.
