New gear question

I bought a set of brand new motive 3.73 ring and pinion gears for a stock 01 z28 rear end. I need to buy a shim kit for it soon so I can get them installed. Do I need to buy a complete delux kit to rebuild the whole rear, or just the shim and seals kit? The car has 55,000 miles on it with about 425HP at the flywheel on a m6. I will be upgrading to a TR224 on a 112 soon. What do you guys think I need to get and who is the cheapest for good parts?

do you plan on drag racing the car. If you do you will probably need a 9" soon. Either way no you shouldn't need all of the bearings unless something unforeseen has happened in there.
