need help with 10 bolt
need help with 10 bolt can anyone help me . i have a stock 10 bolt is there anything besides getting rid of it . to help with launching at 4000 before i blow it up. can i replace the internals and make it stronger
Everybody says that with a 6 spd no matter what you do the ten bolt will eventually give up. There are ways to make it stronger but why put that much money into it when you know it isn't gonna last. But if you want to you can swap out the axles, gears, and diff. If you do plan to take this route you also definetly want to get a rear girdle. But alot of people spent the money on strengthening the factory rea just to blow it up in the end and by an aftermarket rear. Good luck.
