2001 Z28/LS1 Diff Assy Question Hi - Replaced the axle in my car. Pretty easy except the keeper ( the block that keeps the axles from moving inboard and the c clips falling out) can go in two ways. The 8mm screw fits either way.
What worry's me is that the keeper has a slot at about a 30 deg angle. There are some cross holes drilled thru the grooves. It looks like these slots have something to do with lubrication and I am afraid to do it wrong.
If any one knows the orientation or where I can get it I would sure appreciate it.
