i broke a stud, i need some help

I broke one of the 'screw studs' on my flowtech 3inch cutout. Theres three of one and i snapped one of them. dont ask me how, but i just did. Half of it snapped off. can i bang that stud out with a hammer and replace it or is it welded in. am i making sense or confusing people? <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

A muffler shop has to weld a new stud in for you.

If you have an angle grinder, grind it off and just replace it with another bolt. Its welded in. Only problem would be if it is the hard bolt to reach. If thats the cause get to muffler shop with a torch and cut it out. I replace all the QTEC Cutouts with longer bolts. Grind them all off. Not hard for me because they are sitting in a vice and not on the car.
