Rotors???

Rotors??? I am just wondering why I have seen people buying rotors from Autozone? I just checked with my local Autozone and they do not offer a warranty with their rotors that are priced at 42.00. I then checked with Advanced Auto parts and they had some for 45.00 with a THREE YEAR WARRANTY. Has anyone ever tried the rotors from Advanced Auto??

Re: Rotors??? I have ones from PepBoys on there now but I need new fronts. My stockers went south quick, these lasted longer but I use CM pads and they kinda trash the rotors faster and I am hard on the brakes most the time.
I will probably get mine from advance auto if they are only 45 each and 3 year warranty

Re: Rotors??? I work for Advance Auto and our stocked rotors for the later model Z28s are our lowest bidder brand. We are supposed to be getting Ferodo and/or Bendix in in the middle of the year. Excellent rotors. Granted the lowest bidder brand are three year warranted but depending on the store, company policy is that we are not supposed to replace them for wear only, so if you do buy them and have to take them back just tell your store that they warped. <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

I am also running a set of rotors from Pepboys, and they are working great for me. I have about 5K HARD miles on them, and they look fine. My GM rotors lasted 30K hard miles as well, but began to crack. Most rotors you get from parts stores are going to be the same, unless you start getting into a slotter and/or cross drilled.
