Default Lowering spring question...

I had the Eibach Pro kit, BMR LCAs,BMR APHR, and I kept the stock shocks (DEcarbons) installed. Why does the car seems to bounce a bit in the rear when I hit dips or bumps. IT seems to bounce more with more people in the car. Could the reason this is happening, due to no LCA brackets (which i haven't had put in yet) or the stock shocks? Anyone else notice this after they lower their cars? Thanks.

Steve,
I was in your same EXACT position. The reason why it so 'bouncy' in the back per say is because of those Stock DeCarbon Shocks. How many miles do u have on the shocks? MIne had over 30K and it just beat me to hell. It was either replace the shocks or take off the springs. I ended up taking them off and noticed that my car rode much better! Handling was *slightly* lowered, but thats okay.

FWIW: my brother said that my car launches much
better too at the track with the stock
springs on than the eibach. makes sense
since the stock ones are softer springs.

Thanks for the reply! I only have like 7500 mile on my car. I figured it probably was the shocks. Don't know for sure what I am gonna do yet. I like the lowered look, just don't care for the bounce.

I am having the same problem with my eibach springs its very bouncy. i was told that some bilsteins or adjustable shocks would do the trick. what do you think. i really want to keep the look.

I've got Eibach Sport lines on my car and did KYB AGX adjustables at the same time. No complaints, I'd do it again. The KYBs are 8-way adjustable and go from bouncy to REAL firm. Affordable too

I thought they were the shocks Steve.

My SS with the Bilstein susp. has no bounce. If you wanna keep the springs in you need to get them Bilsteins or something comparable.

You don't need to worry about if them springs hurt your times at the track, BECAUSE YOU NEVER GO! lol <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Peace,
Craig. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />
