Kirban Shift Stick Hey all,
I'm used to all the Pro5.0/Ripper debates, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with this more uncommon shifter. From the pics I've seen, the Kirban looks pretty beefy..

Re: Kirban Shift Stick I don't know if there is a new version, but I got mine about a year and a half ago. (Back in the good old days when everything for these cars was even more expensive than it is now) It was definitely worth it. It is much smoother than the stock one, and the spring setup is really nice.

Re: Kirban Shift Stick I have one also. It was probably the third thing I got for my car right after the !cags and lid back in July of 2000.
It made such a huge difference. I have tried other shifters on the market and I like the position and the feel of the Kirban.
Just an FYI, if you are not happy with the height, you can add more threads to the handle and then cut it to the desired lenght. I did this and it is now as short as a Pro 5.0 with a Lou's short stick.
But shifters are like exhausts and speakers, each one will feel different to each different driver but they all work equally as well. Try and drive a couple different ones to find the one you like before buying them. That is what I did and decided on the less common Kirban.
