DLS is great to deal with, fast response and quick to answer any questions. I called him all hours of the day.
I ran for the first time tonight on it and I thought it would of been a little slower then the 10 bolt. WRONG, it ran 11.9 on the first pass. best was 12.19.
On the last pass I sprayed 100 shot and got a 11.45 @ 122.21 and spun'm hard off the line. 1.62 60'.
The 9" did'nt even blink. I would recomend DLS to everyone. Thanks.

yeah scott did a great job with the install, even put up with my slow azz, lol. my back is still killing me
I cannot thank scott enough for the work he has done, he also helped me weld my nitrous bottle brackets which he didnt have to, thanks man. the rear end is amazing, it looks sooo badazz from behind the car, i have pics ill be uploading later. the rear is as quiet as a mouse and feels a lot smoother and tighter. we took pics and notes of the whole install process and will be putting together a how-to. When im finished with that i will post on here a link to the install. i feel soo much better now beating the crap out of my car,

Sweet! I'm surprised more folks don't opt for an alum. center section though. Nice to know that you don't have to immediately buy a driveshaft. I'm kinda surprised the stock length shaft will work though.
I'm not quite sure but the OEM driveshaft is either 1/2 or 1" too long. The OEM driveshaft under the right conditions will be forced into the tailshaft of the transmission, nuking the tranny.

i have a bmr driveshaft loop but couldnt install it for some reason cuz the stock torque arm is in the way, you can see half of the bmr ds loop, the loop part isnt hooked up. i guess ill have to get an aftermarket torque arm. anyone have a used adjustable one cheap? lol. i aint launching on slicks with a stock ds and no loop, im still on street tires, i have to get the budget together to get, slicks, rims, driveshaft, tq arm, etc, thats like a couple grand right there :/
ill probably wait till next year for that maybe just try this on street tires on the track who knows. ill have to look at the driveshaft to see if it is too long, i doubt it is, or scott wouldnt let me do this...

Anyone that thinks a stock driveshaft is going to hold up to 4-5,000 rpm clutch dumps is nothing but naive. Anyone selling 9" rears and telling their customers that an OEM driveshaft is OK for a M6 is borderline criminal. Have any of you guys ever seen what damage a wrung off driveshaft can do? It can virtually destroy a car.
