Will 285's fit on 17x9 ZR1's?
Any fitment issues there?? Or speedometer/odometer issues? (I understand that the 285's are a little taller???)
Just wondering... Tire replacement is imminent, and I would like to go from the stock 275's to 285's if the latter will fit my stock ZR1 wheels.
If not, I'll probably just go with the BF Goodrich g-Force KD's in 275. (But WOW they're pricey!)
BTW, which BF Goodrich g-Force tires are the optional equipment tires for the SS's? The KDWS? KDW? KD? EIEIO?

Yes you can put 285s on a 9" rim but the 9.5" (or 10") is more optimal. The BFG g-Force KD is a great street/road race tire and is the optional SS tire as well.

9.5" rim is preferable. If you are looking for a 9.5" ZR-1 rim, check out www.performancewheeloutlet.com. That is where I got mine, good quality, about the same weight as stock 16" rims (the 2000+ style) and good size for 285 size tires!
