Default solid sleeve

im going to rebuild my rearend with a new posi,gears, and the deluxe ratech kit. how much torque do you put the solid sleeve in same as the crushed one?

Same as a crushed and then check the preaload.

Measure your old crush sleeve. Get your shims right, torque the solid spacer to 125 ft-lbs. check preload. Add or subtract shims as needed. Apply red loctite and torque it down.
Remember bearing preload is different between new/used bearings. I also like to check the total assembly.

On all the ones I have done the solid sleeve seems to cure the leaky seal F-body problem. Crush sleeve, well, the leak shows up again over time.

Get some air tools.

Sure, you can. But I can't stress how important the right tools are. (work smarter not harder)
A solid spacer takes a little more work, but worth it IMHO.
