Default What point do I monitor for line PSI on ATAP?

I am wanting to do some testing on ported MAFs and the screened Pace 85 mm MAF in correlation with the line trans line pressure. What points will indicate line pressure activity? My Pace 85 mm screened MAF has proven increased performance over the stock piece, but also gives +10-14 Ltrms at cruise with MAFT @ 0-0. I am wondering if it is actually calibrated. The comparison tests will
determine this. Patrick G? Anyone?
Thanks.

You want to check the L-Trims at WOT. At cruise, they will fluctuate quite a bit. Unless they're close to 0%, the MAF is not very well calibrated.

If you are getting 10-14% positive L-Trims, then you are probably getting 10-14% less load being calculated by the pcm. You will gain 3-4 degrees of timing (which is probably why you found the performance gain and not from increased airflow).

Check the trans pressure setting on A-Tap or better yet, check it will a real pressure gauge with your MAFT on 0-0. After you have good readings (at cruise and WOT), adjust the MAFT until you have 0% L-Trims then re-check trans line pressure. Let us know what you find out.
