Default 10 bolt pinion seal?

I just set-up my gears in my 10 bolt and the seal in the install kit is too small for the pinion yoke! I can't find the right seal anywhere in the aftermarket and was told it may be a dealer item only! 01 Z28. Anyone have any experience with this pinion seal?

You can get a "Timken" seal from AutoZone (or your local version of the chain) for about $12.00.

You need Gm part number #12471523
The older seal is #26026792
Have your parts house cross reference for you. Or just go to Chevy, they ain't that much.

I'd go with Timken
