Thank you for contacting Red Line Oil, in your 10 bolt differential I
would recommend the 75W90, it would be suitable for use in your
Auburn differential.

I had the 10-Bolt Auburn Diff in my 02 SS as well. I used Royal Purple Gear Lube
with 2 bottle of additive. This was recommended by SLP as they were the original
installers. As you may know, or not, the Auburn Differential is a little louder than the
Eaton. So they told me to add two bottles of the friction additive and do several
figure 8's in the parking lot and it'll quiet'n it down. He wasn't lying.

its silent with the redline oil in it...didn't add anything to it
