I'm currently researching a new rear end for my 00 Z28 and it seems like nothing is a direct boltin replacement! The Strange I saw at tbyrne needs my axles and brake backing plates before they can ship it to me. The Moser sounds like I would have to install and modify parts once it arrived. All I want is a direct bolt-in rear end with 4.30 gears for a TCS/ABS car and the only part I want to swap out is the drive shaft U-joint. Is this possible?

 

I think the strange is a close as your going to get. You could buy a extra set of brake backing plates and relocator rings and send those to them so you dont have to take the old rear apart. If you do order a strange it will most likely take a month or two for it to arrive so you need to have patience for it.
