Default clunking noise

friend of mine has a 00 camaro ss auto. when he takes off u here a clunk clunk when he floors it from a stop. bad ujoint ??

either that or tranny mount. you can usually tell if its the mount by looking at the shifter to see if it moves up and down.

Its going to be the tranny mount. I drove around with that clunk clunk **** for awhile until i could get a new one. It definately annoys the **** out of you. Get a polyurethane one for like $30 and call it good.
