Rear Air bag?
How much pressure do you run in your bag when you are not at the track? What pressure do you run at the track? Just installed one and I am trying to get a feeler for what the norm is.

An airbag in the right rear spring will keep the car from squatting on that side, allowing for a level launch. With a perfect drag setup, you don't want any squat in the rear. A level launch will keep the car straight off of the line.

exactly right Have you ever watched an engine under the hood when you rev it hard? When you rev it you can see it torque over towards the pass. side. Well, the same thing happens w/ power running through the drivetrain. Have you ever seen a car at the dragstrip just BARELY pull a wheel on the launch? Chances are it was the driver's-side wheel. I used to race with a guy that had a small-block in a '68 Chevelle, and he would pre-load the suspension for the launch. The car had a rake and would sit lower on the front driver's-side than it would on the front pass. side. It was crazy to look at since the highest point was the rear pass. side. When it launched it was straight as an arrow and completely level. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
