please help rear end clunk

please help rear end clunk rear makes a clunk and jerk ,its does it when i get on it hard and when it shifts from 1-2, rear also makes a clunk noise going over bumps, i think the 2 issues are most likely related.
car has 84k A4 3.23 gears zexel
i have put umi : lca and adj phb
yes i checked all the bolts 2x now to make sure they arent loose. also checked the torque arm bolts on the rear, they are also tight. its definatly coming from the rear end. i thought mabey u joints but ive never seen a u joint make a jerk/clunk noise like this. i di a search and im going to check the shock bolts but i seriously dont think a loose shock make make a rear end jerky, clunky yea mabey but not the jerk in gettin
