ok well
limited slip. when you jack up the *** end of you car and turn one wheel forward the other turns backwards. this is how the limited slip lets the car go around the corner. the whole ring gear and the differenctial spin around. the inside of the diff lets them turn oposite of one another.
A locker when you jack it the *** up and turn one forward you will hear the locker clunck untile it locks and then the other wheel will spin forward aswell. this is because a locker has a big spring that keeps the COGS (square teeth) together or locked. when the rear is put under pressure, depending on the pressure, as to when the spring lets the cogs unlock. it is imposable for a locker to spin one tire for more than like 5 degree's or what ever space the cogs are.
if i make no sence to you go to detroit lockers web page and look at diagram
