Hey i gotta ls1 f-body with a bunch a mods and that rearend ain't lastin long, i gotta sweet deal on a old 12 bolt for a 70's somethin camaro, 75 bucks..., now would it be easy to clean it up and get to fit my 4th gen f-body? or should i not waste time and get a moser 12? if so does anybody know where i can get 12 bolts for a 4th gen cheap? used or new, retailer, individual whatever just the cheapest flat out prices? thanx anybody

I've been emailing around and checking websites for a Moser and for Strange, and it seems like there isn't much difference in price from one to another. You may save a hundred bucks but not enough savings that you want to just jump on it. They all want two grand ($2,000) then you add options from there and each option is 75 - 100 bucks.
ABS, TRAC., GIRDLE with fill and drain, etc. etc.

If you find someone cheap let me know.

That rear housing will not fit your car, you have to get one with the center torque arm mount. It is pretty expensive, look in the for sale section on this site. I saw a used 12 bolt for 1,500 the other day (shipping gets expensive) I went with the 9 inch housing with axles from moser for 1065 with shipping to montana. They can ship UPS because it is under 140lbs. I am in the process of putting together a center section which is going to be another 1,200. Good luck.
