best Acceleration

I'm sure this is a repost or there has been refrence to it in some posts but i pooker around and still am not sure. This Is really a basic question that everyone (but me ) knows but what gear ratio will give the best acceleration but is still streetable. Thanks

The higher the gear, the better the acceleration, however it depends on your application. 4.10's are great for daily driven cars.

4.10's for an M6, 3.73 for A4. As stated above Higher gear quicker the car. Gears have to be matched to what you plan to achieve too.
