Default Finally getting a 9"

Ok guys,
I am finally giving in a getting a new rear for my 01 TA WS6 M6. She is currently cammed with LT's and all the bolt-ons except the underdrive pulleys. I also have a nitrous dry kit spraying a 100shot. The clutch has been upgraded twice. She dynoed 470rwhp on the spray

Here's the rear I'm tentatively going with...

Moser 9" with posi. 4.11 gears, 33 spline axles, exciter rings pressed on, 4 channel abs/tcs setup, iron rearend cover.

Anything else I should or shouldn't do or add before I order it?

Will the stock driveshaft be ok or does that need to be upgraded at the same time?

If you plan on running slicks and leaving at a high RPM I would replace the POSI with a locker or spool (not street friendly). If you still want the drivability of a posi then at least get a tru-trac. You will need a stronger driveshaft, i.e. a 3" steel or chromoly DS, or 3.5" alum DS.

The 9" doesn't have a rear-end cover.

Thanx for the input.

I def want to keep the streetability as it will only see the track for occasional use. Maybe a handful of times a year.

I'll def get a stronger driveshaft. What's the difference between the posi units? I dont' care so much about the cost difference. I only want to have to replace the setup once and be done with it.

LOL...and yeaaaaaa about that rear end cover. I think I've been reading/debating the 9" vs 12bolt way too long

Streetability is still VERY good with a Locker and with the stuff you listed would be my recomendation.

I'd get 31 spline axles and the 'soft' locker.

A Posi in a 9" really won't hold up in a car making 470rwhp?

Would 4.30's be too much gear? I'll be running DR's on the street. Should I just stay with the 4.10's?

FYI, True-trac units are good for 700 hp, they are used in the NASCAR road racing circuit. Detroit locker's have gone into the 9's just ask ProstockJohn, a mod here.
