Default Gear swap in a 193,xxx mile Z?

Well I wanted a little more umph, and I dunno if this will be a good idea or not. Would it be a bad idea to get 3.73s inplace of my stock gears or would 193,xxx miles be cutting it for a gear swap? I don't wanna blow my engine or break my rear or snap some suspension part, so I thought I'd make sure I am good to go b4 actually doing it. I'm most worried about doing this while launching hard, cuz I know it will be a noticable difference.

Thanks in advance!

Going up to a 3.73 from your stock gear will give your engine more of a mechanical advantage over the drive wheels, it will not make the engine work harder, and if you have the stock street tires, they will break loose before anything in the rear end or rear suspension will. Jus be careful and avoid wheel hop, because that will cause damage to the rear.
