Aluminum Driveshaft?
Aluminum Driveshaft question.... do any f bodies come with aluminum drivehafts?? I always see em for sale on ebay and I was wondering if it was an ugrade from the stocker or if it IS the stocker?? if it IS an upgrade, is it worth the $$

My '98 is a 2.73 car. One thing I really like about the steel DS is the lack of "tinking" that my two previous aluminum DS cars had. My '99 aluminum DS car used to tink constantly, even when the trans would shift under part throttle, or downshift when slowing, you'd hear that damn DS tink. Very annoying. My '00 3.23 car would only tink once in a while when I'd shift into gear....not a big deal on that one. But the steel one, it's quiet ALL the time
Yeah I know it's got a weight disadvantage, but I'll take that over the tinking.
