I'll definitly voice my opinion on this one. I had 2.73s obviously stock and put 3.23s in. I really wish I had gone with 3.42s. I just want a small bump up from what I have, but not quite 3.73s because it is a city driven car. One thing though, if you go up any...it's not gonna pull hard in 1st like it used to. My car cannot hook on 245/45/17's. It spins anywhere in first and in 2nd if I'm in it much in these two gears. But if it hooks in 2nd, and also in third inbetween 2600-4000 rpms, it pulls like a beast. Just my thoughts...

Had Strange Thick 3.42's in a 10-bolt on my old Z28. It was a DD, so didn't wanna over over do it.

3.73's w/ Moser 12blt .....however I have plans to do an A4.M6 swap..... my stock tranny/torque converter dosen't like that setup.

I have 3.73 richmond gears in my car with a 3000 tc and i love this setup! The richmond gears are definately loud though!

well in my sig it has 3.55 and that is what it has or had till I let my kid use the car yesterday and now I need a new posi, might as well up the rear gear while i am at it to a 3.73 or 4.11

I used to have 3.73's but now a have 4.11's in my 9 in. and a 4400 stall. I love it. way better than the 3.73's

2.08 rear end gear and a custom stall that lowers it from stock and is programmed to lock up at 1250 rpm. It goes 120 in 1st gear and OD in theory is 358 mph. I love it because I get awesome gas mileage and at 150 mph I am at 1600 rpm.
