3:73's in a 12 bolt with 3600 stall, thinking about going 4:10's with a 3800 stall.

3.73 are a good gear setup for Auto-x. Keeps me high in the TQ/HP zone.

I just installed 4.10's in my ten bolt and they rock. So much more oomph off the line and through every gear. And if you are afraid to install them yourself, don't be. It was a cinch for me. No howling, perfect backlash and correct wear pattern on the gears.

I did 3:10s in my Moser 9" and love them. They load the motor and spool the turbos quicker than the 342s I had and it gives me a much broader powerband. The car will top out at 245mph in 5th and I do plan on trying it.

I believe Fireball had some 4:8X gears at one point.

the first 12 bolt that was in the car had 4.10s and now it has a different 12 bolt with 4.33 gears. I like the 4.33s more than the 4.10s.

4.11's in my moser 9" with 26" tall slicks... might step up to 4.30's or 4.56's or maybe just a 28" tire. I'll have to see what the new combo likes.

You will need 4.56s with the 28s. The car will bog with a 28 and 4.10s. Unless you are spraying.
