Default ITS BACK !!!....Well sort of here is the problem

ok guys I dont know if u remember my post somewhere back in september i hit a curb doin 80mph and the car spun out over the meadian and on to the oncoming traffic well since then ive replaced the lca's and gotten new rims.. heres the problem i know my front tire is at an angle but thats the front alignment heres the kicker the rear tire is also the same only not as bad but still quite noticable I dont know if alignment is done for sures on the back of our cars but Im starting to wonder if i bent the axel ? ive driven the car and have been driving it for the past few days even tried pushing it a little not too much but seems normal to me other then wheel being off but feels the same .. anything in particular i should listen or look for ?

If your axle was bent it would vibrate real bad. Which way is it leaning. Is it the top, bottom, left side, or right side that's leaning in. The only alignment you can do on the rear is if you have a adjustable panhard bar. Which would be side to side. Or adjustable LCA's. Which would be front to rear. If everything is stock. There is no adjusting that can be done. Check the mounts for the panhard bar and where the LCA's mount on the body and rearend. Make sure none of them are bent as well. 80mph hitting a curb will do some damage. If oyu haven't taken it to a alignment shop since you hit the curb then go do it tommorow.

well its the top leaning in slightly and no i dont feel any vibration at all only on when i take my foot of the brake and ready to step on the gas and even then its not even noticable but from what ive seen nothing is bent i dont know if the lca that was replaced was put in properly it was done by a mechanic just need to get under and check but other then that feels normal.

Man I have no clue then. i don't see anyway something could get bent and the top of the wheel lean in and nothing would vibrate. Unless you have a shock busted and it's sitting lower on one side that would do it. But you should notice that right off. Have somebody follow down the road and see if the wheel wobbles. That is the only thing I can think of doing. Man that's a strange one. I would definetly have it looked into further though.

First you are fortunate the car did not flip over from hitting a curb at 80mph. Second, have the alignment shop check for actual frame damage. Then you need to remove the wheel/tire and check the rotor assembly and the LCA mount points. That's probably where your problem lies. I would assume the rims are trashed now.

well see it was a hard hit but at the same time the car slid over the curb it wasnt that wide but the new rims are on it and yes the old ones were trashed its weird cause ive been pushin the car a little more and more and seems to handle it just fine i dont know what i should look for im going to get under it tommorow weird sounds like no one has had this problem before
