I used to use performance Friction pad, make sure that you get the "Z rated" ones. A little cheaper than the Hawks, but very good pads. I use Hawks now.

I recently installed Hawk Performance pads on my TA. I had the stock pads before that so I can't say if any other brands are better but the Hawk pads are great. They do kick off more dust than stock pads but not to much. I bought them from Thunder racing. part #90-HB249F575 for the front set. They were $84.99.

i think i am going to try the performance friction pads on the front.. as for the rears, is an organic pad alright to use?? since the front does the majority of braking... what do you think??
