tp-4400 vs. #7 pump showdown! This is going to be fun <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I should have the new verter by the beginning of next week. The Vig. will be removed this Sat. and installed in my friends car. Thanks to Mike for hooking me up with the new tp-4400. I will test it "hopefully" the end of next week. I will keep EVERYTHING on the car the same and maintain the exact same raceweight as a month ago when I ran the time in my sig. The #7 has been a excellent converter for me. No lock-up problems ect. The car leaves hard! I know the tp-4400 won't let me down. I wanted to try and get some better #'s out of the Vig. but my friend's cash money talked and I hope him the best for his car! lol... let us know how she does.. its gonna be interesting to see how much or if you can better that ET.. more than likely your mph will go up 1-2

Sub 1.6 60 ft's, and sub 7.50's in the 1/8th. I would have liked to have tried to get a 1.49 out of it but maybe John can <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> We'll see if the ET comes down. The Vig is still a excellent converter.

I tested these 2 verters back to back in the same car at the same weight at alomst the same DA over a yr. ago..
Vig was .05 quicker
Yank was 1MPH faster.
Vig launched 1.55
Yank 1.56
Vig felt harder on the launch
Yank pulled harder up top.
Vig locked up nicer and didnt cause any codes.
Yank once in a while threw a shift noid code,unlocked from time to time.
Both r excellent verters
Its a toss up.

Wilwaxu, its obivious that little tiny 4400 has a little more top end.. but you and me.. cecil county May 11th.. showdown in the stock class <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> lol i get to leave on the 1st light right?
