Does anyone have a step by step for removing the axle's from a stock rear end? I need to change my rear wheel bearings. I have the rotors off and diff cover off.
Thanks for any help.

I had to pull my ABS sesnor on the rear end in order to push the axles in far enough to let the c-clips fall out.
Should be a piece in the middle of the carrier (if you have the Torsen unit Worm gears)
with a small 8mm head bolt going throught it. Undo that, pull the that piece out. Then push each axle in and roll it around until you can get each c-clip after that the axles should pull right out.
I have not done an auburn, but I would guess it is similar.

Nope. You will have one connector and one bolt on each.
It helps to have a pen magnet for the C clip removal.
8mm for the paddle removal. 10mm for the sensor removal. Shoot me a PM if you run into trouble.

Well I got the axles out with no problem. The bad news is I found a nick on the drivers side axle where it rides on the bearing. I was hoping for just a worn bearing, but at least I found what was making that nasty sound at 60+ mph. Oh well on to plan B.
Thanks for the help.
